Feel elation, text ultrasound pics to parents and sister, get home, google shit to try to prove my doctor is just blowing smoke up my ass. I'm glad to hear it isn't just me. Second, I have had, count it, zero sex since finding out I was pregnant. This is horrible. I've had, ahem, orgasms. And they feel particularly lovely with all of the progesterone coursing through my.. system. But I'm with Amanda. No penetration. It's all about fear. I told myself I'd get to the second trimester and be cool with it. I'm only a couple of weeks out. Time will tell.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4355082394752703079.post-84556284724572145942013-09-06T16:31:12.757-07:002013-09-06T16:31:12.757-07:00I'll do you one better with TMI (Eric would ki...I'll do you one better with TMI (Eric would kill me if he knew I was sharing this). I was so terrified to have sex with the second pregnancy that we started having "fex" (faux + sex) which is what we termed whatever the hell we were doing. It was a lot like high school, with the whole "anything but actual penetration" mentality because GOD FORBID that be the cause of the big M word. And you better believe if we get pregnant again, it will be nothing but fex for the first trimester.

Congrats on the ultrasound and I'm glad you got the books, even under false pretenses. Your trepidation is totally, 100% normal. But I am not worried for you one bit! Not one little bit! Total confidence over here. I mean, it's not like having sex got us pregnant, right? Very good news about week 14. I hope to be a tigress at that point.2dognitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05247158356810025811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4355082394752703079.post-34681956298896054272013-09-06T07:02:28.298-07:002013-09-06T07:02:28.298-07:00I do wear underwear! But I was wearing one of those stupid thong liners (dumb dumb dumb) and there was gushing and humiliation. 2dognitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05247158356810025811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4355082394752703079.post-18396678368200473342013-09-05T18:17:30.905-07:002013-09-05T18:17:30.905-07:00Ha! Well done.

Also, first trimester sex. Ugh. I really went through an emotional, ahem, spiral? Complete and utter disinterest? All I can say is (TMI?), it got WAY better after about 14 weeks. Of course, by the time I'm so big I can no longer see my feet, I expect another drop off in interest/ability. Ha.

Godspeed!Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17685641936657833904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4355082394752703079.post-74141610875043095672013-09-05T17:39:18.358-07:002013-09-05T17:39:18.358-07:00Hahahaha,loved this post- omg I just picked up Cri...Hahahaha,loved this post- omg I just picked up Crinone today! One day, if your baby is a girl, once she's about 30, you'll have to take her out for a drink and share that little gem with her. I know if my mom told ME that she'd gone through anything like that for me...well...her next birthday/Mother's Day/Christmas gifts would definitely go up a few notches. I don't wear a lot of dresses as it is, but I certainly stayed away from wearing them while on the Crinone during the first trimester! :-)Non Sequitur Chicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07268138421234170972noreply@blogger.com
